Position yourself to meet the growing need for business professionals with superior data analysis skills, with the Master of Business Administration with a Concentration in Business Analytics from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. This 100% online program will teach you how to gather, organize and optimize data to understand trends and forecast opportunities.
Develop your knowledge of basic analytic software programming (including R and Python™), including how to import and export data, manage the data frame, and write basic scripts. You will study statistical methods for analyzing business time-series data and learn how to apply statistical tools to real-world data problems.
In addition to building your foundation in functional business areas like economics, accounting, marketing and management, you'll gain experience working on a business analytics team with other online students—a hands-on opportunity to solve a real-world business problem.

The University of North Carolina at Pembroke offers the advantages of a private school education without the private school cost. Tuition for the MBA – Business Analytics online is affordable and priced with the working student in mind. Financial aid may be available for students who qualify.

The School of Business admission process is the first step toward becoming a difference-maker in the field of business. Find out the requirements for the MBA – Business Analytics online and what additional materials are needed.
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Resume/CV
- GMAT/GRE not required if cumulative GPA is 2.5 or greater
To be eligible for consideration for full or provisional admission, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Submit a completed online application
- Pay a $55 non-refundable application fee ($60 for international applicants and waived for military members)
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Submit official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended
- 2.0 minimum cumulative GPA
- If GPA is between 2.5 and 2.9, students must submit one year of work experience (can use student leadership experience in college or military experience)
- If GPA is between 2.0 and 2.49, students must submit one year of work experience and GMAT or GRE scores
- Minimum GMAT score- 400 or better
- Minimum GRE score- 292 or better
- Applicants with non-business undergraduate degrees and/or applicants missing prerequisite undergraduate courses may be required to take additional foundation courses

To earn this master’s in business analytics online, students must complete eight core courses and four business analytics concentration courses for a total of 36 credit hours. Applicants with non-business undergraduate degrees and/or applicants missing prerequisite undergraduate courses may be required to take additional foundation courses. Foundation courses are listed below.
